Contemporary Debates in Postcolonial, Decolonial & Global Literary Studies

This postgraduate symposium, Contemporary Debates in Postcolonial, Decolonial & Global Literary Studies, a collaboration between the Open University and the University of East Anglia, will feature panels of MA and PhD student presentations of their research in individual ten-fifteen-minute papers.

The symposium includes papers and discussion on the latest developments in the field, and also peer discussion of how to disseminate and publish your research, advice on career paths in and beyond academia, and the PhD process.

The event is convened by David Johnson, Alex Tickell and Anne Wetherilt of the Open University, and Alison Donnell and Anshuman Mondal of the University of East Anglia.

The event will take place 10:00 – 16:00 BST, Saturday 23 September 2023 and is a live face to face event.

Location: The School of Literature, Drama and Creative Writing, University of East Anglia.

The event is free, but booking is essential – lunch and refreshments will be provided.
