Brooklands College was initially opened in 1951 and was formerly known as Brooklands Technical College. Over the past number of years, the college has experienced steady growth. In 2016, they opened their Ashford campus to focus primarily on a number of full-time courses and to offer part-time programs in ESOL, Computing and Maths skills for adults. Brooklands College is a further education college situated on two campuses – one in Surrey and the other in Middlesex. They are one of Surrey’s biggest providers of vocational training and higher and further education. Their course offerings are incredibly diverse and they provide high-quality teaching and support to their students. The main campus has a student population of more than 1,600 students on their programs. Brooklands College also provides several programs for higher education provision and adults as a result of its partnerships with Kingston University and Oxford Brookes University.
