About 

The University of Liverpool was established in 1881 and is considered to be one of the best universities in the UK. It provides numerous postgraduate, undergraduate, and research programs across many disciplines. These include health and life sciences, humanities and social studies, science and engineering, and management studies.  

They also provide several distance learning courses too. The main campus of the university is situated in Liverpool but they also maintain satellite campuses in Suzhou, China, Singapore, and London. The Liverpool campus sits on 100 acres of land and provides state-of-the-art facilities to its students. These include art studios, libraries, computer centres, and hi-tech laboratories.  

Postgraduate Programs They Run 

The University of Liverpool provides several postgraduate programs covering topics such as chemistry, dental science, engineering, architecture, history, law, management, and more. Some of the accreditations their courses offer include Master of Art (MA), Master of Law (LLM), Master of Science (MSc), and more.  

Admissions Process 

Full-time UK-based and international undergraduate applicants can apply via the UCAS. Simply visit www.UCAS.com and register. Then, begin filling out your information. Ensure you have the correct institution and course codes to include. Once you have sent off your application, the university will review it and contact you. Part-time and postgraduate applicants can apply online on the University of Liverpool website. Simply navigate to the Find a course page and scroll down until you see the apply now button. Press that and begin filling out your application. Ensure you meet all the entry requirements before you apply and that you have all the necessary documentation to hand. After you have submitted your application, the university will review it and get back to you.  

Accommodation  

The University of Liverpool has more than 4,400 student rooms, in their Greenbank Student Village and city campus residences. You can choose between single and double rooms. Most of the rooms available are furnished and provide high-speed broadband. They usually also have shared kitchens and washing facilities. There is a complimentary cleaning service for shared areas to help keep your kitchen, living area, and bathroom tidy. You will also be in close proximity to all necessary amenities such as shops, cafés and bars, and even some sporting facilities and libraries. There is usually a common-room where you can socialise and relax too. There is 24-hour security so you can rest knowing that you are staying in a secure property. Rooms come with a bed, wardrobe, and study area which includes a desk, shelves, and a chair. Scholarships and Financial Support 

The University of Liverpool has a number of scholarships available for undergraduate and postgraduate students. Some of these include the Vice-Chancellor’s International Attainment Scholarship, the University of Liverpool First Class Scholarship, the Postgraduate Progression Award, and more. There are also scholarships specific to certain programs and for those who excel at a sport.
