Robert Gordon University, also known as RGU is an open university that gained university status in 1992. It is one of the two higher education institutions in Aberdeen Scotland. It sits in the southwest of the city and on spacious parkland which is directly across from the River Dee. The campus has incredible research and teaching facilities and has been recognised previously for its contemporary architecture.

They have 11 schools, each of which has been sub-divided into educational departments. Robert Gordon University currently has over 16,000 students across its programs.
