Postgraduate Student Finance Applications Now Open for 2025–2026

Applications for postgraduate Master’s and Doctoral Loans are now open for the 2025 to 2026 academic year through Student Finance England (SFE) and Student Finance Wales (SFW).

New applicants are encouraged to apply online via the official portals:

Applicants who have previously used student finance services can log in with their existing accounts. Those applying for the first time will need to create a new online account.

Continuing postgraduate students do not need to reapply, as their funding will automatically carry over to the next year of their course. However, they are advised to sign in to their accounts to ensure their information is accurate and up to date.

Available Funding for 2025–2026

For SFE Students:

• Up to £12,858 for a Master’s degree

• Up to £30,301 for a Doctoral degree

• Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSA) available

For SFW Students:

• Up to £19,255 for a Master’s degree

• Up to £29,130 for a Doctoral degree

• Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSA) available
