Manchester Metropolitan University was founded in 1824 and is a public institution for higher education in England. It began as Manchester Mechanics Institute and gained university status and its current name in 1992. They have two campuses – All Saints, situated in the heart of Manchester, and Birley Campus, located on the edge of the city center.
