About

The university’s history can be traced back to 1845 when it was discovered by the Pope’s decree, the Papal Bull. This makes Glasgow School of Art the fourth oldest English-speaking university. It is one of the most unique universities in the world in that it awards master’s degrees to undergraduate students for some programs. The university currently has five campuses.

They have expanded their programs to provide courses in topics such as biological and physical science, art, engineering, veterinary medicine, dentistry, medicine, law, education, humanities and social sciences, and more. The main campus is in Gilmorehill and the others are in the Dental College in the city center, Bearsden, Gartnavel Royal Hospital, Dumfries, and the Queen Elizabeth University. They annually take in 19000 undergraduate students and 6000 postgraduate students.

You will then be brought to an online application form which you can fill out. If you are applying for part-time courses, you can make your application in the same way. The university will then review your application and revert back to you.

Accommodation

Glasgow School of Art has a range of accommodation available for undergraduate and postgraduate students studying its programs. They have two halls of residence – Margaret Macdonald House and Blythswood House. Their halls are situated in the city center, nearby all necessary amenities, and public transport links. All of the halls are fully furnished and secure. All utilities are included in the rent price and laundry facilities are available on the sites. Students will also have access to free speedy Wi-Fi and contents insurance.

Your room will have a bed, mattress and a topper, a wardrobe, shelving, a desk, and a chair. Depending on which hall you stay in, you may have a private en-suite bathroom and a small cinema or games room. The kitchen and living areas are generally communal.
