Applications Now Open for UK Government’s Prestigious Chevening Scholarships

The British High Commission Dhaka announced that applications for the highly sought-after Chevening Scholarships are open from 5 August to 7 October 2025.

The Chevening programme offers fully-funded master’s degrees at leading UK universities to individuals who are prepared to drive positive change both in their home countries and globally. With over 40 years of history, Chevening has attracted hundreds of thousands of applicants worldwide. Successful candidates are those who can demonstrate exceptional leadership, influence, and networking abilities through clear, evidence-based examples.

British High Commissioner to Bangladesh, Sarah Cooke, stated:

Since its inception in 1983, more than 372 Bangladeshi scholars have been awarded Chevening scholarships, highlighting the UK’s dedication to nurturing the leaders of tomorrow.
