The Division of Psychology & Mental Health at University of Manchester host the 2025 Postgraduate Research Showcase — an annual celebration of the work, progress, and experiences of PhD students across the Division.
With the theme “The PhD Journey”, this year’s event highlights contributions from students at all stages of their doctoral studies. Attendees can expect engaging presentations covering current research, personal reflections, future plans, and the lived realities of PhD life. The showcase will also include valuable insights from recent graduates, who will share their post-PhD career experiences and reflections.
Research topics span a broad spectrum, including Adult and Digital Mental Health, Children and Young People, Suicide and Self-Harm, Forensic Mental Health, Pedagogy, and more.
Keynote Speakers
Four recent PhD graduates: Rhiannon Hawkes, Hannah Long, Victoria Woof, and Sarah Hindmarch will deliver keynote talks, offering honest and inspiring accounts of their PhD experiences and professional paths since completing their doctorates.
